We wanted a piece to remind us of what is to come...and therefore how we should live.
A piece free from gruesome blood, or creepy expressions.
A piece that mimicked the human skull Sts. like St. Jerome were often depicted with in images. A reminder of our mortality.
Reality is that we have no control over when the Lord calls us home, but we DO have a choice in how we live our lives...and what we we will receive when the time comes as a result.
This piece is heavy, made to last with an eco resin that we have imported.
