Carmens debut novel deeply resonated with me. The story is one of redemption and hope after the main character Adri Rivera narrowly escapes an abusive relationship with her young child. She rebuilds, finds her faith again, and finds love again. 

If you know anything about the way Kerygma was born...this is it in a nutshell. Escaping an abusive relationship, losing my home and job all in the middle of a pandemic, with my then infant on my hip. I started this small business, found God again, and the rest is history.
